Take a Trip through Russia
(it will be a while before the next one)Open Google Maps and go to Russia (use a VPN if you have one). Find a business and write a 5-star review to any tourist attractions or public institutions, posting pictures about the war. We recommend the cities of Perm, Ufa, Vladivostok and Arkhangelsk. You can be a bit cheeky with your words too! Here are some good examples:
Sell something fake on a Russian website!
Go to one of these websites: barahla.net, Avito.ru, Tiu.ru, dmir.ru. Create an account and advertise a product: TV, washing machine, car, get creative!... For the product picture, use one of the photos at this link (link to photo album)
Send Russians SMS about the war!
Anonymous group has created a tool that enables anyone to bypass the Kremlin's draconian info blackout & text random people in Russia about what is going on in Ukraine. This is it
For Mobile: Go to the page, hit the send button and it automatically populates an SMS in Russian to a random Russian number. Then click send and you’ve helped in the information war with Russia!
For Desktop: Access the website and obtain random numbers (of real people). Copy paste the suggested Russian text provided on their website. Send as an SMS
Get swiping on Tinder!
Use Tinder (or another geo-based dating app) and write appropriate information in the profile description. Change your location inside Russia hourly. And use this photo next to your sexiest pics, it tells Russians the true story!
Build Morale Through Memes
Ukrainian farmers taking tanks. Zelensky mocking Putin. Tanks for sale on ebay. There are so many inspiring, morale boosting images from the resistance. Share it with your friends and boost morale for Ukraine. We’ll update them regularly.

Tips for posting
If you have a VPN
Vary your words, and be careful. Do not leave any personal information (using a new account is a great option for privacy reasons) and consider to vary the text templates provided below (otherwise they can be easily filtered automatically).

Use Photos
It is also worth adding images of your “trip” to the location too, in case they start censoring keywords from false reviews. Harder to do with images! Even just a screenshot of text will do. We've posted some in an album below.
Use Yandex
As an alternative to Google or Instagram, Russians use Yandex. Feel free to create an account there. Again, consider using a different name.

Use Orbot
You can also disguise your handy/tablet network with the 'Orbot' app so that your phone thinks you are in Russia. You can also access Russian groups and leave Ukrainian news via Telegram.
